Product leadership and management

I take pride in making great products that help people. The best products I've ever made walk and talk and are now in High School and College. That decision has made me a relentless optimist, every parent must be.   I have the DNA of an entrepreneur.   I have 17+ years of SDLC experience.  I started as a Jr. software engineer but eventually focused on data almost exclusively.  My skills led me to lucrative consulting gigs and eventually my own small business. Life had other plans. I found a data analysis and transformation job for a company no one had ever heard of.    

Ultimate Software however would become the #1 technology company to work for in the US. The dedication to putting people first at Ultimate changed my life and defined my career trajectory.  Eventually, with encouragement from the CEO Scott Scherr I took another shot at building my own business this time in the big leagues. 

 I landed an angel investment and an employee retention and engagement startup was born. I experienced hyper growth in business and professionally. When I and my IP were recruited back to Ultimate, this time in Product I accepted.    

 I have earned a respected reputation in data analytics, management, business intelligence and am entering the age of machine learning, predictive analytics and NLP.     I am highly skilled at working with all levels of product management, user experience, design and the SDLC. I am now focusing more on strategy and opportunity. I use agile, CICD and scalability as tools. My greatest tool however is still communication.     

I have a wide range of industry experience | HCM, Payroll/HR, Public ERP, Utilities, Health Care, Public Safety, Court, Community Development.  I believe people are the reason, data the proof and skill the delivery.  I'm ready to take those concepts and make a global impact, challenge my assumptions, broaden my reach and use what I've learned to make a truly meaningful impact.
